A Beginning

I have chosen to begin this blog for a number of reasons. Mother's Day has me nostalgic for the present, swimming in emotions that I want to process externally. I like writing. I feel like I like the me that I see through my writing better than the me that I think I am. I have a mash of rambling thoughts that I want to keep somewhere and be challenged to articulate. I like the detail-oriented process of setting up the atmosphere--backgrounds, photos, fonts, orientation. Overall, I guess I feel like I need to feel like someone wants to hear what I am thinking, even if no one is actually reading this. Here's to the journey.
